The reference photo used to paint this painting was snapped by a family member while the wife was in hospice. It was surprisingly easy to work from despite the poor resolution. You can see so much about the relationship here. His cowboy hat tilted back, a little like John Wayne, with her hands clasped in approval. I don't know what they were talking about, but it was a sweet moment.
This picture is very sweet and you can tell the people are in love. An amazing and painting full of heart.
