 Watercolor class figurative study exercises


Here is a demonstration of what I call "almost people," otherwise known as a figurative study. We used a terrific photograph from National Geographic magazine for the first exercise. And although we often simply use watercolor paint alone, we often include many elements of collage as well, such as tissue paper and other textured (acid-free) papers with these "almost people" paintings.
